We opened its doors in Indonesia in 2004. We were challenged to find organic produce and meats, combining them with special organic ingredients that make our cuisine healthy & delicious. At first, we were astonished at the increased rate of heart disease & cancer & realized that the underlying cause of the sickness must be connected with what we EAT & DRINK. Upon further research, we learned about the terrible depletion of the nutrients in our soil due to pesticides & were shocked by the ubiquitous use of antibiotics & growth hormones in livestock. Certain that we should ‘avoid’ food that was raised in this “conventional” manner, we made a conscious choice to live organically & create a venue to offer delicious, well-balanced organic food to the public. Healthy Choice tries to subtly educate our guest about the philosophy behind the organic products. Through fresh, delicious dishes Healthy Choice tried to show that organic food doesn’t mean sacrificing taste. Growth and acceptance of the organic lifestyle is visible in Healthy Choice.
