Malibu 62 Studio diresmikan pada tanggal 25 Februari 1994, bertempat Jl. Raya Barat Boulevard Blok LC VII No. 62 Kelapa Gading Permai Jakarta 14240, yang kemudian menjadi kantor pusat Malibu 62 Studio. Melalui pengamatan pasar yang jeli, dilengkapi dengan serangkaian survei yang cermat lahirlah kesimpulan adanya peluang pasar yang masih belum terjamah para pelaku Bisnis Fotografi, yaitu kalangan remaja. Pada saat itu belum ada studio yang benar-benar dapat memenuhi keinginan dan selera remaja yang sekaligus dapat dijadikan wadah penyaluran bakat dan hobby bagi mereka untuk berfoto dengan harga terjangkau namun bermutu tinggi.

In the era of rapid technological development, BINUS has stronger obligation to face the challenge of improving the quality of education in Indonesia and preparing college graduates to be ready with competition in the business market. In response to the challenge, BINUS established a learning center called BINUS CENTER. It is an off-campus training center and is managed by the public. The ownership system is set based on a franchising model in which private sector can cooperate with BINUS. BINUS CENTER offers a variety of products/services to a wider public to be able to get access to higher education. This way it is hoped that more people will be better educated and become more skillful in the workplace.
